Paper Submission

Regular papers for ARSO 2025 must be submitted electronically in PDF format via PaperPlaza. All papers must be in English.

Paper length limitation

The page limit is 6 pages for the paper (text, figures, tables, references acknowledgement, etc.). Papers exceeding the 6 page limit at the time of submission will be returned without review.
The final camera ready papers may have up to 8 pages (at an additional charge of 100 USD per page when exceeding the 6 page limit).

Video

A 1-minute video (up to 10 MB) can be added to supplement your paper. Videos are not mandatory. Rather it’s an opportunity to augment one’s paper to visibly showcase results. MPG, MPEG or MP4 video formats can be used. One can upload or re-upload their video attachment no later than on Feb. 28th, 2025 (23:59 JST).

Note on revision

As indicated in the commitment statement undersigned when submitting your paper, the final version will fundamentally correspond in length and contents to the submitted version, except for parts that might be added or modified to comply with the reviewers’ suggestions. It is considered unethical to shorten or otherwise alter the final version in ways that make it weaker than what approved by the reviewers.

Compliance with IEEE format

You are required to follow the IEEE conference format. You should submit a PDF (up to 6 MB) that must conform to the manuscript preparation guidelines in PaperPlaza. To ensure formatting compliance (e.g. margins, fonts and size) you should use the IEEE template in LaTeX or MS Word. Papers that fail to do so will not be included in IEEE Xplore. You are required to accept the Copyright transfer agreement online.

Author Registration

If none of the authors of an accepted paper are registered, it will be removed from the program and will NOT be uploaded to IEEE Xplore.
